is the follow up to the critically acclaimed debut full length CD
"It's Not You, It's Me." The CD received rave reviews in
such publications as Magnet, CMJ, The Big Takeover, Hit It or Quit
It and many others. The CD also received airplay on over 20 Commercial
Alternative Specialty shows including WXRT in Chicago, WHFS in Washington,
DC and WEDG in Buffalo, NY.
Mollycuddle is the Twin Cities band
that specializes in momentary lapses of self-esteem and self-loathing.
The last few months have seen Mollycuddle in relative hibernation
working on material for the follow up to 1997's debut EP Non-Fiction.
The new Brian Hanna (The Hang Ups, Papas Fritas, Legendary Jim Ruiz
Group) produced album "It's Not You, It's Me," displays
a more mature and confidant approach to songwriting while maintaining
an emotive pop tension.
Be prepared to have what little you
have left of your already weak and pathetic heart to be crushed,
brutalized and ridiculed. Anchored by a strong, percussive rhythm
section Mollycuddle's most distinct character would have to be the
boy/girl vocal interchange which brings together Tommy's manic screaming
